Mr. Bread LIN began his safety career in 1989 as a Labour Department officer with formal and intensive training in Safety Law, whose responsibilities consisted primarily of enforcing safety law, accident investigation and assisting with prosecutions. On departure from the authority, he joined 2 internal contractors to the position of Deputy Corp QSE Director and Group System Assurance and Quality Manager for a total of 22 years. Having joined the Airport Authority Hong Kong – Third Runway Division in 2018 as Senior Manager, Safety and served as the Team Head of the Safety Team, which is responsible for implementing the Division Safety Management System as well as monitoring and supervising a total of over 40 contractors and service providers for the safety delivery of the Three-runway System (3RS) Project which is scheduled for completion in 2024 at the cost of HK$141.5 billion.
Bread has extensive hands-on experience delivering temporary works management to both clients and contractors covering system development, management, implementation, accident investigation and system assurance.
